Triario® WG protects against soil-borne diseases such as Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, Cylindrocladium, Sclerotinia, Sclerotium, and Thielaviopsis.

Pests

Triario® WG controls plant pest nematodes, including soybean cyst nematode, Heterodera glycines.

Crops

Triario® WG can be used in agronomic row crops, forage crops, legume and field crops, root crops, small grains and tuber crops. See product label for specific listings.

Mode of action

The mode of action of Triario® WG is based on the following mechanisms:

  • Mycroparasitism: Triario® WG is capable of parasitizing plant pathogenic fungi.
  • Competition: Triario® WG colonizes on the plant's root system by competing with plant pathogens for space and food.

Application

Triario® WG can be applied via planter box (on-site), as a commercial seed treatment, in-furrow spray, and transplant starter solution. Check the label for each crop and situation. Apply Triario® WG as early as possible to the crop for optimal effect.

Environmental conditions

Triario® WG Biological Fungicide becomes active in soil or on plants when temperatures are above 50 ºF and is not effective while temperatures remain cold.
